Spidercam was jointly developed by Austria and Germany. Hung by pulleys at the four corners and Kevlar ropes, the center camera unit moves and shoots with a high degree of freedom controlled by four winches. Spidercam is known for its safety and quietness. As the agent in Japan, IMAGE STUDIO 109 has been using Spidercam since 2007. Recently twelve Spidercam systems are used all over the world. Spidercam is known worldwide and always used for big sports contests like the FIFA World Cup, the Olympics, and figure skating championships. In Japan, Spidercam has been widely used for various purposes like filming stadium concert and music videos.
